2008 CMA Male Vocalist of the Year nominees!
Taylor Swift and Rascal Flatts announced this year’s nominees for the 2008 CMA Male Vocalist of the Year just moments ago on The Today Show. And the nominees are:
Kenny Chesney – Kenny Chesney is just finishing up on the Poets and Pirates tour and cleaned up in nominations this year with a total of 6 nominations including Entertainer of the Year. Congratulations go out to Kenny Chesney!
Keith Urban – Keith Urban has had a busy year in 2008 touring with Kenny Chesney as well as headlining his own US tour. Keith Urban was also nominated in 6 other categories including Best Album, and Entertainer of the Year!
Brad Paisley – Brad Paisley has seen great success in 2007 and 2008 with his album 5th Gear and is already gearing up on the release of his all-instrumental album as well as his next full length. Brad Paisley is currently on tour in the US.
George Strait – George Strait’s latest release “Troubadour” was also nominated for Album of the Year, and George Straight himself was nominated for Entertainer of the Year. Congratulations George!
Alan Jackson – Alan Jackson has been having a Good Time in 2008 setting up the worlds longest line dance and releasing possibly his best album to date. Alan Jackson’s Good Time album was also nominated for Best Album of the Year!
