2008 CMA Entertainer of the Year nominees!
Taylor Swift and Rascal Flatts announced this year’s nominees for the 2008 CMA Entertainer of the Year just moments ago on The Today Show. And the nominees are:
Sugarland – Sugarland has had a monster amount of success this year as fans received their latest album Love on the Inside with open arms! Sugarland was awarded nominations in several categories including Vocal Event of the Year and Single of the Year.
Kenny Chesney – Kenny Chesney is just finishing up on the Poets and Pirates tour and cleaned up in nominations this year with a total of 6 nominations. Congratulations go out to Kenny Chesney!
Keith Urban - Keith Urban has had a busy year in 2008 touring with Kenny Chesney as well as headlining his own US tour. Keith Urban was also nominated in 6 other categories including Best Album, and Best Male Vocalist
Brad Paisley - Brad Paisley has seen great success in 2007 and 2008 with his album 5th Gear and is already gearing up on the release of his all-instrumental album as well as his next full length. Brad Paisley is currently on tour in the US.
George Strait – George Strait’s latest release “Troubadour” was also nominated for Album of the Year, and George Straight himself was nominated for Male Vocalist of the Year. Congratulations George!
