CMA Announces the 2008 Vocal Group of the Year nominees!
This morning Taylor Swift and Rascal Flatts announced the CMA’s Vocal Group of the Year nominees for 2008. And the nominees are:
Rascal Flatts – Rascal Flatts are no strangers to awards shows especially after having such a phenomenal year of tours and hits. Their newest “Bob that Head” tour is reaching record-breaking ticket sales and their matching single was recently reworked for Monday night football, proving that America LOVES Rascal Flatts!
Lady Antebellum – Lady Antebellum has been enjoying a breakout year as they toured, released several singles, and picked up their own ACM award earlier in the year. Congratulations Lady Antebellum!
The Eagles – The Eagles broke into country music with their crossover album Long Road Out of Eden at the beginning of 2008 and have been well-received by fans world-wide, so the CMA nomination comes as no surprise! Congratulations Eagles!
Emerson Drive - Emerson Drive recently cleaned house at the Canadian Country Music Awards and now their ready to sweep up in the USA! Emerson Drive is currently on a nationwide tour earning their right to be called CMA’s Vocal Group of the Year! Congratulations Emerson Drive!
